Carol Lee Strunk

Carol was born January 13, 1953 in Portland, Oregon to John and Jean Bailey. Soon after, the family moved to Anchorage, Alaska where a sister and brother were added to the family. The lure of a fast growing city with opportunities abound took the family to Phoenix, Arizona just before the earthquake in Anchorage. Carol was a natural student and excelled in school. She graduated from Arcadia High School and also attended ASU. After a brief marriage, she joined the ranks of Intel and had a successful career there for 19 years. Carol loved the arts from a young age which continued throughout her life. Movies, books, plays and creating beautiful jewelry kept her busy, especially the jewelry parties she hosted at her home with friends and family. She cherished her friendships and was generous to a fault. Carol is survived by her siblings Mary Ann Bailey (John E Bush), James Bailey (Sue Jones) and Nancy Bailey-Davis (Stacey Davis) and nephews Andrew D. Bush, Kevin M. Bush and Evan J. Bailey.
