

Carolyn received her education in Victorville, California, and pursued a career in interior design. She also participated in beauty pageants, emerging victorious as Miss Oro Grande in the late 1950s.
Throughout her professional life, Carolyn served with Standard Brands Paint Company in California. She relocated to Arizona 25 years ago and subsequently employed her skills at Home Depot. In retirement, she engaged in the Avon sales industry.
Carolyn found solace in the companionship of her feline companions and the nurturing of her garden.
She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Blanche Ley of Oro Grande, California.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Renee Rhiner (Bill Brannon) and Mark Rhiner (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Jennie, RJ, and Ryan Orosz; her sister, Sue Gatchell (Al Brolsma); and her niece, Kara Reeves (Brian). She is also survived by her grandnephews Bradley, Braxton, and Broden, and her great-grandnephew Castle.
Carolyn will be interred at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale, Arizona.
