Clayton Browning, 78 of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away March 6, 2018. He was born July 18, 1939 at home in Connersville, Indiana. Clayton graduated from Connersville High School in 1957. From 1959 to 1963, he worked as an Airborne Radar Equipment Repairman in the U.S. Air Force, holding a rank of Airman First Class. He then worked from 1967 to 1995 for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier.
He was a good Christian, who loved music and his pets. Clayton loved playing guitar, piano and singing. He loved to listen to 50’s and old time gospel music. Clayton was a family man who loved dearly his wife, daughter, sons, grandsons, parents, and sisters.
Clayton is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah (Debbie) Jane Browning of Scottsdale; daughter, Shannon Browning of Scottsdale; son, Christopher Havey of Madison, WI; grandson, Alexander Havey of Madison, WI; and sister, Linda Short of Connersville, IN. He is predeceased by his son, Christopher Clayton Browning, who passed away in 1989; and mother and father, Hilda and Luscion Browning.
In Claytons honor, services will be held at Green Acres Chapel (401 N. Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85257) on Tuesday, March 13, 2018; Visitation at 1:00 pm and Funeral Service at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at Green Acres Cemetery Scottsdale, AZ.
