Dale Harris

They moved around a lot during the 1930’s as a result of the Great Depression. As they headed west to California, the car broke down and they had little money so they settled here in Phoenix, Arizona. Dale graduated from Phoenix Union High School where he met his wife, Darlene Shirley Henry. They married July 1, 1950 and were blessed with three children, Katherine Gail, Karen Elaine and Mark Wayne. In the late 1950’s Dale moved his family to his mother’s cattle ranch in Stuart, Oklahoma. In 1963 Dale and Darlene moved back to Phoenix, Arizona, where they raised their three children and were very involved in Trinity Baptist Church. That involvement lasted until the late 1970’s when Dale and Darlene moved to Carson City, Nevada. From there they moved to Livermore, California where they lived for several years. In 1992, Dale and Darlene moved back to Phoenix where they were very involved in First Southern Baptist Church of Scottsdale. After Darlene’s passing in 2002, Dale lived with Gary and Karen, continued working at Todd & Associates, and continued his involvement in church, especially the Jubilee Choir. This is where his relationship with his second wife, Christine, began. They married in 2008. They were together until Christine’s passing in January of 2026, and Dale followed her to heaven in February, 2026. Dale was loved by his family, his fellow members of the church, and all those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10:00 am at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
