

Dale L. Lautt, 83, succumbed to injuries suffered in a tragic auto accident on November 22, 2023. He was born in Harvey, North Dakota on March 21, 1940, to Albert and Katherina Lautt. He was the 6th of 9 children. Dale started his military career in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and was later stationed Active Duty at Maison Fort France. It was in France where he met his wife Arlette (Dejax). Together they had three children Frank (Sherry), Caroline, and Stephan (Heather).
The military eventually brought them to the U.S. where he was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Dale had an extensive military career of which to be proud. He was recognized with many honors, medals, and commendations, including a Sharpshooter badge.
After retirement from the military, Dale started his own business, D and L Repair. Dale liked to work. He was a jack of all trades and master of all. There was nothing he could not build or fix. Dale had many friends and many interests. He loved cars, working on cars, enjoyed hang gliding, and DIY home improvement projects. Dale had the spirit of a 20-year-old and loved being with his friends. He was the type of person you would never forget meeting.
Dale leaves behind his three loving children, Arlette (Dejax) Lautt, his brother Art, his sisters Betty Vinarksai, Evelyn Lautt, and Elayne Brown, sister-in-law Pat Lautt, seven grandchildren; Matthew, Connor, Austin, Ashley, Kyle (Lautt) and Kiki and Grant (Owens) as well many nephews, nieces, and more friends than we can count. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wesley, and his sisters Alice, Catherine, and Carol, bothers-in-law, Ed Skorick, Eugene Vinarskai, Howard Brown, Tom Kimbrough, and sister-in-law Opal Lautt.
His children thank the team of doctors and nurses at HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center - Trauma Unit that worked so tirelessly and compassionately.
A private burial will take place and his family will receive family and friends for funeral services on January 13, 2023 at 11:00 am at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery, /401 Hayden Road, Scottdale, Arizona 85257.
