Like the others of the Shadow clan here, I did not have the privilege of meeting Dana in the physical world but in the digital world it was my good fortune to meet a kind and accepting person who was always happy to see you and share her time with you. Life had gotten somewhat crazy so I did not get to meet up with her as much as either of us would like last year but I am so happy that one of our last meetings I got to take her name for my avatar. My old name had been rushed so I wanted to change it. I preferred Dana but wanted a second opinion so I asked her about the two names I had narrowed it down to. When she told me Dana was her real name I immediately changed my name to that. I am happy that one of the last times we were together was one where we could make a good memory for both of us. I look forward to meeting again in that next virtual world.

I never met her out side of second life. But she was a wonderful friend when i frequented it in 2010-13.  I moved on from the platform and would only show up to check in every once in awhile. at those times she was basically the only one left online on my friends list. and she was always happy to see me.  I last talked to her very very shortly before she passed.  asked her for advice on modernizing an sl avi in the tail end of 2023. I hadn't logged on in 3 years and she still was happy to see me remembered me and was excited that I was back online.  It never occurred to me that she may pass away. I never even really knew her age. She was just that one friend that was always there  always still online even after everyone else had moved on..I will miss her terribly.

While we never met face to face in the real world, she was always so very loving and supportive to me, almost from the moment we "met" in virtual.  I cannot imagine the loss those who knew her in the real world are feeling now.

May God grant you solace and peace and may her memory be a lasting blessing forever.

My deepest condolences!

This is at Burger Place in Memphis TN....We went to Graceland. One of many trips we took.

She loved to go dancing and have a couple beers.

Good ole days. Boomerang. Dana and I when we were young .We used to play pool and work at the same time. I am so going to miss you . We had such good times,always laughing and joking around .
