Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Alice his wife of 59 years and a sister Frances Wolber. He is survived by his older sister Irene Willhite 97, his brother Walter Cantrell 91, nieces Carolyn Cunningham & Carla Cantrell and nephews Mark Willhite, & Eric & Noel Wolber and the passel of children and grandchildren they begot.
Dean lived a varied, rich and full life of adventure with service in WWII, 20 years in Saudi Arabia with Aramco, breeding Arabian horses for the Saudi royalty & then for the people of Scottsdale in the 1960s, & selling Machine Tools for the Aerospace Industry in the 1980 till just a few years ago.
He met the love of his life, Alice a second generation Arizona lady from Holbrook, whose mother was a Harvey Girl and father was a railroad worker, while they were in Saudi Arabia when she worked for Aramco and then TWA.
Services will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home on Hayden with Visitation at 10 AM and Memorial Service at 11 AM.
