Della Faye Richardson was born on February 2, 1934 to Lonnie and Rosie Aulston in a small town in TX, and was raised in Colorado. She married the love of her life, Bill Richardson and started their family, eventually settling in Tempe, AZ. She passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on November 30, 2025.
Della was the quiet heart of her family. She was steady, comforting, always giving, and found joy in caring for her home and the people she loved.
Her gentle strength, warm humor, and unconditional love shaped her family forever. She will be deeply missed, and her love will live on through those she touched.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Bill Richardson, her son, William “Randy” Richardson, and grandson, Stevie Richardson.
She is survived by her son, Steve G. Richardson (Nancy); two grandchildren, Kelly Snyder (Eric) and the late Stevie Richardson (Kacy); and five great-grandchildren: Dawson, Sierra, Ryan, Kaylee, and EJ. She also leaves behind several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, as well as nieces and nephews. And last but not least, her precious Booty cat.
The funeral service will be held at Green Acres Cemetery on Friday, December 12th. Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., with services following at 10:00 a.m. The family invites all who knew and loved her to join in celebrating a life lived with quiet grace and immeasurable love.
