Dolores Mary “Mert” Phillips, age 90, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 in Mesa, Arizona at her home peacefully with her family. She was born in Erie, PA on December 31, 1928 to Veronica Baker Humphries and James T. Humphries. She moved to Arizona in 1956 with her husband. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Robert Phillips and her daughter Stephanie Phillips.
Over the years volunteering was a great part of her life Some of the many volunteer organizations she was involved with were; Arizona State Prevention of Blindness, Girl Scout leader in the Arizona Cactus-Pine Girl Scout Council, St. Vincent de Paul, East Valley Senior Center and Hospice of the Valley.
Funeral Services and interment will be at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery of Scottsdale, AZ on Saturday, May 25 at 10:00am and Graveside Service at 11am. No reception after the service.
