I am just heart broken. Just learned of Mrs. Penic's passing today. How I wished I had known. I would have wanted to be there for you/her. I'm thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Loosing a family member, is always difficult. However, she was uniquely special. Very loving and kind. I am sure God has a very special place for her in His kingdom. My love and condolences to the entire Penic family. Again, I am so sorry  I didn't make it to the funeral.

To John & family, and Joyce & Roy... Sorry for your loss. In remembering Donna I think of a fun loving, yet gentle person, and also one that MANY years ago moved me into bravery! We were going to frost my hair, and OOPS... half of it was bleached... now what?  Ahhh lets go whole hog... we laughed and worried what Bud would think and what fun we had!! From then on I was the Chameleon as mom said.  Yes GOOD Memories help at these times... May God hold you in the hollow of HIS Hands and comfort you. Love to all.

Condolences for Donna's family....So sorry.

My Aunt Donna was the most kind, giving, loving, genuine person. Her loyalty and devotion to her family always came first. My deepest sympathies to my Uncle John and cousins. I will miss her dearly and our shared love of our Maserati Moscato :) Until we meet again sweet lady.

Our close friendship with  the Penics spans many years and covers hundreds of miles. It is with sadness in our hearts that we receive the news of Dona's passing.

She was a beautiful and special person who was always bursting with energy and fun. We will miss her.

Donna was like a second mother to me, she was an absolutely amazing person. Loving, caring and she always made you feel loved. She had the best laugh, very contagious.  I will miss her every day! Thoughts and prayers to the entire Penic Family.

From the Aragon household, our hearts go out to Donna's family. One of the things so memorable about Donna was the love & pride she showed for her husband. Donna was a VERY special person; an awesome Mom AND grandmother! She will always be dear to my heart.

I've always been a "Donna-wanna-be". I learned so much about family and nurturing and committed friendship from her. Her practical nature combined with her sense of humor made everything seem easy and attainable. I admired her for all she stood for... and was thankful eternally for the explanations of Croatian culture that helped me become part of the family. What a treasure! Love and deepest sympathy from all the Washington Penics.

I asked Donna what her best day ever was and she said it wasn't one ... it was 5.  The days of birth for each of her children.  The moment when she was handed her newborn made that moment in time her best in life TIMES 5.
