Dorothy was born in Rochester, Minnesota, to the late Nadine and George Huncovsky. She spent most of her life in Arizona, where she attended Douglas High School in Douglas. She later earned a degree from Cochise College and devoted 45 years of her career to American Express in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Eddie Medrano; her two daughters, Christine (Justin) and Danielle; her three cherished grandchildren, Rylee, Bennett, and Caleb; and her brother, Harvey. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Brenda and Melodee.
Dorothy was a beloved aunt and great-aunt to two generations of nieces and nephews. She found joy in her faith, family, and the simple pleasures of life. She loved Disneyland, searching for a great bargain, keeping up with the latest collecting trends, and cheering on the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are grateful for the time God blessed us with her. We find comfort in knowing that Jesus welcomed her into His loving embrace. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered by those whose lives she touched.
