

Edith Towner, 80, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 9, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on March 17, 1946, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Blain and Frances Miller.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Robert Tibbett (1992), second husband Harold Towner (2021), Brother Blain and son Gary (1982). She was a loving mother to her four children, Anna (Rocky), Robert (Sherri), Joyce and Gary. She was a very proud grandmother to Eric (Kristyn), MiChele (Terrence), Gary (Kim), Jeremy (Jessica), Justin, Ryan (Elizabeth), Shelby (Morgan) and Christa. She was blessed with 9 great-grandchildren Sarah, Kayden, Jayne, Grayson, Lilliana, Charlotte, Elissa, Eleanor and Samantha. She doted on her grandchildren and is fondly remembered for making every birthday a holiday.
Known for her deeply generous heart, a fierce loyalty to her people, and a quiet humor that caught you off guard. She appreciated the simple pleasures in life, the company of family and friends, and, of course, her love of Coke Cola, all animals and The Beverly Hillbillies.
Edith leaves behind a profound legacy of strength, kindness, and unwavering resilience. She brought light to the lives of all who crossed her path, and her spirit will forever reside in the hearts of her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to The Alzheimer’s Association in Edith's name.
