Edris graduated from Galesburg High School, laying the foundation for a life rich in experiences and accomplishments. Her career was marked by her contributions to H&R Block, the Arizona Department of Revenue, and the U.S. Postal Service, where she worked diligently and with great commitment.
On June 10, 1951, Edris married Ollie K. Cutliff Jr., a union that began with a charming story. While out with her father, Edris spotted Ollie sitting on a Coke machine and expressed her interest with the words, "I want one of those." Her father, misunderstanding, asked, "A Coke?" But Edris's heart was set on Ollie. Together, they shared a life filled with love and companionship.
Edris's personal interests included spending cherished time with her family, playing golf in her younger years, which later transitioned to mini-golf, solving jigsaw puzzles, enjoying computer games and the casino. She had a passion for travel, always by her husband's side, exploring nearly every state. Their travels took them to memorable destinations such as Hawaii, Canada, Niagara Falls, Yellowstone, Alaska, and even on a cruise.
Edris is survived by her daughters, Sheryl D. McDonnell and Teresa L. Jackson, her grandchildren, Suzanne M. Clanton and partner Nate, Michelle M. Pavelic and husband Karl, Richard W. Jackson and partner Melanie, and Christopher W. Sellars, her great-grandchildren Alex Clanton, Hannah Clanton, Karl Pavelic Jr., Courtney Pavelic, Kailey Pavelic, Sandin Sellars, Cross Sellars and Jorin Sellars, and her great-great-grandchildren Zaiden Pavelic and Kaiden Pavelic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie K. Cutliff Jr., and her son, Kenneth W. Cutliff.
Edris will be remembered for her warmth, her adventurous spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
