82, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away June 11, 2011 following a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. Ed, born November 25, 1928, in Lakewood, NJ, is survived by his wife of 57 years, Vera; son Paul, daughter-in-law Leslie, 3 grandchildren – Adam 15, Nathan 14 and Lia 11; and brother, Richard, of NJ. A hard worker, and man of integrity, Ed worked in the Automotive aftermarket all of his life starting with Electric Autolite Co, Monroe Auto Equipment (21 years) and Retiring from Exide Technologies, as Western Region VP, in 1992. In the early 1980’s, Ed and Vera settled in Fountain Hills, AZ where he started the Fountain Hills Walking Club, which grew to over 50 members. Ed’s trademark has always been his incredible smile. A Genuine man who loved God, people and reached out to others unconditionally. His mission in life has always been to be there for others. Eddie…Mission Accomplished.
