We grew up together in Hayward, CA. 
Ed and I used to sneak under his house and smoke his mom's menthol cigarettes. Yuk. I was very young when I got sick with Shingles, 14, Ed was the only friend who came to the hospital to visit me.

I'm sorry we didn't get to meet up when I was in Scottsdale. It would've been nice to talk.

Edwin and I grew up together, he was my next door neighbor in Hayward ,CA. I just found out about his passing. I am very sorry to hear this. I tried to visit him a couple of years ago while I was at the Laser Spine Institute in Scottsdale. He couldn't make it for some reason. I'm sorry I didn't get to say a final hello. 
Edwin and I were quite adventurous in our youth. We roamed around the area just looking and to see what we could find. We went to S.F. together to the Amusement park at the beach by bus. I remember riding the roller coaster and we went over a rise, there were no seat belts back then, I was smaller and began to fly out! Edwin grabbed me and pulled me back in. 
We had fun going places and doing things, kid things. we used to steal his mom's cigs, hoping to get high. We'd sneak under his house to smoke, we thought we were cool. Lot's of memories, I wish we had the opportunity to relive them.
I am sorry he's gone.
