She was born on April 18, 1941 in Prarieville, Missouri to Earl and Leora (Geery) Stewart.
Ann was a graduate of North High School and later became a teacher's assistant for the Deer Valley School District. She was an active member of the Foothills Christian Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
Ann was married to her beloved husband Donald Root prior to his passing in June of 2015.
In her free time, Ann enjoyed crocheting, knitting and quilt making.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Harold "Wayne" Mann and her husband, Donald Root. She is survived by her brother Gary Mann; nieces Amber Mann and Crystal Mann; her great-niece Megan and her great-nephew Cameron.
On Saturday, May 31st, 2025 at 9:00 AM there will be a church service and reception at Foothills Christian Church, 3951 W Happy Valley Rd, Glendale, AZ 85310. (35th Ave and Happy Valley Rd)
