Eunice (June) Lamprecht, daughter of Hazel and Ed Newquist, was born August 30, 1917, on the family farm near Wausa, Nebraska and died in her sleep on December 19, 2014, at her home in Paradise Valley, Arizona at the age of 97.
June grew up on the family farm and married Glenn (Barney) Lamprecht in South Dakota; they had two children, Rodney and Terry. Barney and June lived in Bloomfield where Barney owned and operated the John Deere dealership. They moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1957.
June loved to cook, sew, make jewelry, swim and was quite an accomplished photographer. June was known for her Swedish cooking. Bowling was one of her passions, and she continued to bowl through her 90th year. Barney and June traveled the world, and she photographed all their travels as well as all the special family occasions. She was a long-standing member of Ascension Lutheran Church.
June is survived by her son, Terry Lamprecht, daughter-in-law, Kay Lamprecht, grandchildren and spouses, Kim and Craig Arnold, Gene and Sheila Lamprecht,Toni and John Gonzales, Derek and Andrea Lamprecht, and seven great-grandchildren, Jill, Alex, Erin, Cole, Jake, Carson, and Brooke. Preceding June in death were her parents; husband, Barney; son, Rod Lamprecht; sisters Leona and Lou, their spouses, Phil and Mike; and nephew, Mickey Daniels.
