My condoloences to the Cook family during this difficult time of loss.  Flo was a sweet and gentle soul, a client I truly enjoyed working with.  She was always very grateful for the work I did and made me aware of her appreciation.  I will always remember her coming to the senior center to play BINGO with her special little pillow and sweet smile... indicating once again that she had not won! Flo you will missed by your senior center family!

Heartfelt condolences to the Cook family.  I will always cherish our trip out to Scottsdale.  It just so happened to my Dad's last trip to see his beloved sister Flo and younger brother Pete...so glad to have had that experience.  I have vivid memories of walking in the desert and being warned of the black widows and scorpions.  Aunt Flo, I will remember your Cunningham laugh and smile and your gentleness!   R.I.P

Dear Nana, 

I have so many fond memories of you that I will cherish forever: Your delicious spaghetti and meatballs that looked like they were straight out of the Lady and the Tramp cartoon. Watching basketball, and you reminding me over the years of the time when I was 4 that I shyly confessed to you, "I like Scottie Pippen." Going to the movies in Scottsdale which was always a treat for a film-loving child, specifically when you took me to see Snow White for the first time. "Papa Bags" from you and dear Papa that were filled with gifts including a Canada t-shirt and one for the Buffalo Bisons which I still wear, 25 years later. Ice cream cones, and spinning around on your rotating bar stools until I was dizzy. Birthday cards, visits with the cousins, and stories from your childhood. You made my childhood fun, and my young adulthood rich with love.

You will be missed dearly.

I loved Flo, my Nana, very much, she was always sweet to her grandkids. Fed us the best spaghetti and meatballs and tickled our backs. I hope wherever she is, she is happy and at peace with our Papa. It seemed like we lost her quite a while before she physically left us, but I hope she knew we loved her.

This is for my Mom...Dear Mother, you gave us the gift of life. Made sacrifices to relocate to some dusty desert town called Scottsdale in the late 1950's. It was a good life, with great neighbors back then. You cooked and kept the house in excellent order, even despite of later health problems. There were good times, and some hard times..."That's Life", sang Sinatra. But the closest we became was after Dad passed on...we became a team you and I. You were a proud to be born Canadian, your early years in Ontario was a dreamland of a place to live. I can only hope, even pray that you are with Dad (Arthur D.Cook)...I know that you loved him so. Also with your beloved Father Lionel Cunningham and others. I'm so glad I got to stay with you the week of your 85th Birthday. Did you you hear me whisper, so I wouldn't wake you in bed before I left back home? I said- "Goodbye...I love you".
