Florene Grosvenor of Chandler Arizona passed away peacefully on August 9, 2012. Florene was born in DuQuoin, Illinois on April 10, 1924 to Fred and Cecelia Krone. After she married her husband Jack, they moved to Chandler in 1948.
Florene was a loving wife, dedicated mother and homemaker, and in her later years, she became a real estate agent and retired from her second career at the age of 79. She was very active in community service, including long term service in the Chandler Service Club. Florene had a passion for living and loved sewing, gardening, crafts and ballroom dancing with the love of her life, Jack.
She is survived by her sons Jeff and Steve, daughter-in-law Kathi, grandchildren Greg and Analise, her sister Ruth and her beloved dog, Crickett. Florene was preceded in death by her husband Jack on March 30, 2012 and brothers Harley and Herman Krone.
Memorial services will be held at Green Acres Mortuary on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Hospice of the Valley, 1510 East Flower Street, Phoenix, Arizona, 85014.
