She was born Nov 27 1934 to Henry Thomas Vinson and Rubye Mae Hadley. Freeda will be remembered for her incredible work ethic, her sarcastic sense of humor, and her deep love for everyone who crossed her path, whether human or animal. Her retirement became a true labor of love and devotion for her garden dedicated to the Lord. She loved staying busy by cleaning houses. Freeda cherished traveling the world with her sister, and she always held a special place in her heart for a memorable trip with her daughter Frances, Evilee and her daughter Teresa.
She is survived by her loving Life Partner / Soulmate David Frederking, her daughters, Pamela Figolah, Frances (Ralph) Roberson, her sister Evilee (Charles) Soos and many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Freeda was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Rubye, her husband Chester J. Grandys, her oldest daughter Sandra (Joseph) DeCaro, her two brothers Deloyal (Sharon) and Glen (Vickie) Vinson and her great grandchild Samuel Archer Filyaw.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Freeda's memory to Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association to support dementia research.
