Born on May 16, 1939, in Garden City, South Dakota, Gloria spent most of her adult life in the Phoenix, Arizona, area. She attended beauty school and pursued higher education, coming within three semesters of earning her bachelor's degree.
Over the years, Gloria worked in a variety of occupations, reflecting a willingness to try different paths and experiences. She had a lifelong love of animals, especially cats, whose companionship brought her great comfort and joy.
Gloria never had children. She is survived by her brother, Raymond Blais, age 92, as well as extended family members and friends who will remember her in their own special ways.
Gloria lived life on her own terms, following a path that was uniquely her own. Independent and unmistakably herself, she was known for her distinctive personality and laughter. May she rest in peace.
