

Gloria Jean Vincent-Doolittle passed away at the residence of her son in Gold Canyon, Arizona on April 10, 2020 at the age of 84. Gloria is preceded by her parents Buehl and Daisy Vincent, her sisters Nettie Lorraine Luby and Marilyn Ann Joshlyn, her daughter Lori Gasper and granddaughter Lindsey Doolittle. Gloria is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 65 years Maynard Ward Doolittle. They were married in Tekonsha, Michigan October 23, 1954. Gloria is lovingly remembered by her children Terry and Gary, her grandchildren Cassandra, Kyle, Megan, Chelsea, Adrian, Rachel, Travis, Jerry, Soledad, Monica, Richard and 20 great grandchildren. Gloria was born in Jackson, Michigan on May 6, 1935, graduated from Tekonsha High School and was a devoted housewife to her family and grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gloria enjoyed traveling to other countries, she and Maynard were also avid travelers coast to coast in the United States and Canada in their 5th wheel. Gloria loved to read, enjoyed bowling and was once a member of a synchronized swim team. She was always up for zip lining and for her 80th birthday she went up in a hot air balloon. The funeral services were held on April 19, 2020 at the Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery in Scottsdale, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, she asked for memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church of Tempe or a favorite charity.
