Gurdeep S. Pujji, aged 85, passed away in his home with his two sons by his side. He was born in Amritsar, India in 1936 and made a home and life for his family in three different countries: India, England, and America.
After spending 21 years in New York, Gurdeep and his late wife Ajit settled in Avondale in 2001 living a beautiful comfortable life caring for each other. He worked for the Maricopa County Tax Assessor’s office before retiring. He was especially fond of gardening and tending to his many fruit trees in the backyard. He loved to share the harvest with many of their friends, neighbors, and family.
A devout and proud Sikh, Gurdeep was always a welcoming face at the Nishkam Seva and Guru Nanak Gurdwara’s in the greater Phoenix areas.
He is always loved and will be missed by many.
