Harry was born on September 3, 1925 in Albany, New York. He served as an Electrician's Mate 3c during World War II in the United States Navy. Harry obtained a master’s degree in business and worked as a food broker in New York from 1948 to 1975, then later at Allied Signal in Arizona until he retired in 1991.
He married Evelyn M. Culp on March 20, 1959 and she preceded him in death on October 16, 2005. They had three children: Kris, Richard, and Heidi. Harry loved basketball, watching Westerns, and playing cards. He was loved by many and left a lasting impression on those he met. Harry was surrounded by great neighbors and friends that watched over him after his wife passed.

Harry is survived by his children, Kris Culp, Richard Culp, and Heidi Thompson; grandchildren, Nicole Morotti, Michael Thompson, and Jillane Culp; and great grandchild, Harlow Cherry.
A memorial service with military honors for Harry will be held Monday, December 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257.
