Hazel Marie Umbaugh

It is with solemn hearts that we announce the passing of Hazel Marie Umbaugh. Hazel was born on November 18, 1951, in the state of New Jersey. She passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 74, and was a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Hazel dedicated much of her life to working with children as a preschool teacher. She found great joy in nurturing young minds and made a lasting impact on the many families and children she served throughout her career. Her kindness, patience, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Darrin Shawn Umbaugh (Danielle), Craig Allen Umbaugh, and Bradley Dale Umbaugh; and her brother, Patrick Cassidy.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward; her sister, Dawn; and her mother, Hazel.

Her love for her family and her caring nature will forever remain in our hearts.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Green Acres Mortuary in Scottsdale, Arizona.
