Helen Kay Estes

On September 25th, 1948 in Marion, Illinois, Helen entered this world.

She graduated from Coronado High School. She married her soulmate, Shannon Lake Estes on November 15, 1974 in Arizona.

Helen had worked in the Hotel Industry for Holiday Inn for quite some time.

She was a loving aunt to nieces, nephew and was a great cousin to her many cousins. She had many friends across the United States.

Helen loved to drive fast, which makes sense for how much she loved watching NASCAR and never missed watching a race. Another passion of hers was working in her yard, planting flowers and watching her hard work grow so beautifully. She loved her family more than life itself.

She was a member of Desert View Bible Church. She will be laid to rest on Monday, February 19, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be held at her church Desert View Bible Church, 105 W. Carefree Hwy Phoenix, AZ 85086.

She is survived by her sister, Pat Cowan and brother, Marshall Durham.

She was preceded in death by her husband Shannon Lake Estes who left this Earth on May 15th, 2015 and her son, Todd Estes, who peacefully left us to reunite with Shannon on July 2nd, 2007.
