Remembering wonderful times visiting our Grandparents with  Mom. She was always relaxed and we would go on morning walks around the town. Simpler Happier times.

Miss you Mom. There isn’t a day that I don’t feel your presence. You left us way too soon.

Helga and I met in the mid-1980s when as manager, she hired me as an Instructor at SST Travel Schools in Scottsdale. I taught there for a number of years, and we had countless opportunities to talk before and after classes. She was a special, kind, and compassionate lady. I even had the pleasure of having her daughter Evelyn in one of my classes, and I remember Sylvia when she would stop by or help her Mom.

Needless to say, I was shocked to find her obituary in the newspaper. It has been quite a while since we have been in contact, but please know that I feel the loss of an old friend. My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time.  -Mark Torpey
