He was born on July, 1, 1937 to parents Adele and Rabbi Adam Neuberger in Chicago, Illinois. He is survived by his children, Scot (Bonnie), Felice, Nanci (Eric), David (Claire); and by his grandchildren, Adam, Sarah, Jason, Rachel and Kaileen.
His life was dedicated to his art. He loved to create and work with his hands. From a career as an Architect, to a full re-creation of Downtown Chicago in the form of a model train, to plaster and metal sculpture art, to realistic pencil drawings, “Through Windows of Time” using the pen name, “Zelig”, Herman was a dedicated, true artist. His art was his joy and his legacy.
