Howard Vernon Moore went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 24, 2018. Howard was born on September 27, 1923 in Highland, Ohio, in the family home, on the farm. His parents were Fannie and Merritt Moore. Howard had a twin brother, Harold, and 4 other siblings, Kathleen, Margaret, Helen and Alice.
Howard helped on the farm for 23 years, and then married Frankie Louise Haynes and moved to Arizona for her health. Howard and Frankie graduated from Arizona State, with degrees in education, and later, Howard received his Master's degree. Howard taught for over 30 years.
Howard and Frankie had 3 children: Linda Anne,(deceased), Richard Howard, and Janet Lynn.
Howard and Frankie were active members of Camelback Bible Church for over 50 years.
Howard was always very active. He enjoyed hiking, biking, ping pong, swimming, golfing, building and flying remote control airplanes. He did yard work most every day, and he was a great artist and photographer.
Howard and Frankie have 5 grandchildren: Leanne (Neil), Ryan (Stacy), Trisha (Mike), Kristin (Chris), and Logan.
Howard and Frankie have 8 great grandchildren: Breagh, Ashlynn, Kaylee, Rihanna, Carter, Lucas, Payton, and Kinsley.
Howard and Frankie were happily married for almost 69 years, and their greatest desire was for all of their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and live for Him all of their lives.
Howard's memorial service will be held at Brookdale North Chandler, where he spent almost two years after Frankie went to heaven. The services will be mostly for the family, because of limited space. May the Lord bless each of you...family and friends...until we all see one another again.
