What a wonderful, beautiful lady whom we always enjoyed in the many events we shared through the years.  God has another angel in his care.  Our thoughts and condolences to Brad and the Bazzell family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jane while I worked at mayo clinic and was able to reconnect with her after retirement on the golf course. Jane was such a quiet and classy woman who had such grace and beauty. I can’t recall a single time Jane showing up at the golf course with her hair not looking fabulous. I’m very thankful for the few years that we were able to golf together and really get to know each other. The sun definitely shines a little less brightly now that Jane has passed. My deepest condolences to Brad and her family. She will definitely be missed. This picture is from The English Tea Room in Carefree during a golf girls grandmother baby shower for our friend Diane. 

Wonderful memories of our times on the house boat.  Jane was always so fun and could handle that big boat better than the guys.  She was a gem.

Aunt Jane was a wonderful and interesting woman who always had an interesting take on life and an open heart to those she met. Our family has always been small, but with her around it never really felt that way. I am eternally grateful for the time that I was able to spend with her, and I am truly sorry to those that never had the privilege of meeting Jane.

I've truly enjoyed reading all the memories shared by Jane's friends.  I wasn't fortunate enough to get to enjoy Jane as an adult.  My memories come from her childhood.  The picture shared is her 1st birthday.  Aunt Ruth happened upon the picture while searching for another.  It was hidden underneath a shot of Grandma Grenard.  She shared it with me and low and behold, I know a story about the stuffed animal Jane is hugging so tightly!!  Alice would take her shopping and let her hold the cute toy but she always had to put it back on the shelf.... until her birthday, then, she got to keep it ❣️!!
Another memory was in the picture too, and caused a discussion between the Aunts.  The dress Jane is wearing and also the bracelet.  Who wore them first?  Did all the sisters wear them for their first birthday pictures??  Nobody can remember those details but it brought about some fond memories!!  Keep making the memories!!!

I worked with Jane, but remotely in through Mayo and the Device Clinic in Rochester starting in late 2012.  I first met Jane in person in December of 2013.  She always had such a positive energy about herself.  I then continued to work with Jane through multiple  convergence projects over the years.  Jane had such a simple way to help people understand what we were trying to accomplish and how to do it collaboratively.  I loved working with Jane and was thrilled when she was able to retire early.  She was an amazing colleague and one that is truly missed.  

While Jane and I mainly worked together via conference calls between the Mayo Clinic sites, she was always a breath of fresh air and friendly.   She always kept tough situations as learning experiences and a chance to prove our capabilities to overcome them.   When we would have our in-person convergence meetings, she always had a great sense of humor which kept the "formalness" at a minimum.  

Aunt Jane was one of my biggest supporters. I have looked up to her since I was a little girl. She was witty, incredibly intelligent, and the definition of “work hard, play hard”.  I miss her a great deal but cherish the memories we made together. 

Jane always knew what I was thinking and she'd say it's a "Yak" feeling .  I am so thankful for the multitude of memories I have of our antics and I will forever cherish them. 

Our special memory was the houseboat trip on Lake Powell.  It was an adventure that included issues with the rented power boat. The final straw was when the engine died.  Suddenly, Jane determinedly began paddling the boat nearer to shore!   Of course, immediately there was more assistance.   Jane was strong willed, funny, and compassionate, among other attributes.   The void created by her passing won’t be filled.   We pray that you, Brad, and everyone find peace.  💜  Linda and Jim

I am so thankful for all the time Evelyn and I shared with Jane. We went on many bike rides and the zoo. It takes a lot to keep up with my little one and she never passed up a chance. Jane was truly a great aunt! 

Aunt Jane was a singular woman. To call her energy vibrant would be a disservice to her. She made any room she was in the fun room, and her dry sense of humor could make even the most humorless cackle. She made me my first margarita and she hated my tattoos. An enigma to the end, this shot of tequila is for you Aunt Jane. 

A fun afternoon with Jane and the Golf Girls. We had a great time at Diane’s tea party with our big hats.  Miss you Jane you gave us so much joy.  You were a  shining star in our group.  Rest In Peace.   Your friend and golf buddy.   Char Jepsen 

These things are Jane to me: a soft, low voice, grins of mischief, a laugh for the ages, reading over the tops of her glasses, enjoying good food and drink, always loving every bit of what was going on no matter what, in always-appropriate clothes and accessories. Thanks and kudos for a too-short life well lived. OX.

A big (Hershey's) kiss back to you my friend.  So many shared memories of friendship, companionship and most of all your fun and loving spirit.  I love you as much today as I have over all the years.

Jane loved to travel and see new places. Rainbow bridge in lake Powell, a place we discovered early in our marriage and a place we frequented many times. I see it as a symbol of Jane's adventurous spirit.

I met Jane through Nancy (Elliott) Doyle and went on many "Hiking Group" vacations with her. Jane added so much class to our group--always stylishly turned out, ALWAYS wearing lipstick....She also had a great sense of humor. One of my favorite memories is of her purchasing the most unattractive, gaudy necklace from a beach vendor in Rocky Point--the next morning, she wore it and declared, "Who hasn't purchased an ugly piece of jewelry at Rocky Point, while drinking?"I was lucky to have known her, and, to this day, I aspire to at least wear lipstick on a regular basis (sorry, Jane, I just don't care enough about stylish clothing). She was unique and a joy to know.  Streaming love, comfort and strength to all of those who loved Jane. lisa
