

Janett Phyllis Davidson, a resident of Gilbert, Arizona, left to be with the Lord on April 8, 2014. She was 79 years old, born in Tucson, Arizona, on January 3, 1935 to the late Andrew Jackson McGahee and to the late Shirley Evelyn Sheldon. Her passing from double pneumonia at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona was surrounded by her husband and children with loving tenderness at her bedside. Her husband of almost sixty one years, Ralph Frederick Davidson, her daughter Robbin Lynn Chapman, her son Bradly Lee Davidson, her son Larry Scott Davidson, and her daughter Cindi Lou Masters as well their spouses, grandchildren, cousins, and close friends were able to thank her for a life well lived as she left to be with the Lord. Janett was an organized wedding planner and decorator. She enjoyed donating her time and abundant energy helping other couples realize the dream of a beautiful wedding as a gift. Her strong personality and keen mind helped her wedding visions come alive for many brides. She planned and performed hundreds of weddings during her lifetime. Janett was passionate for the Great Pyrenees dog breed and she and her husband Ralph bred and showed championship dogs for 30 years. Janett’s love and joy for her 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren made her a model of grand motherhood. Janett never forgot a birthday for any of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Janett’s strength of character based on her Christian beliefs and values and the powerful influence of her personality will always be remembered and missed. God Blessed Janett greatly!
