Jeffery Alan Manders

Jeffery Alan Manders, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on August 11, 2026, he was 32 years old. He was born on April 8, 1994 to Lynn and Mike Manders of Louisville, CO. He is survived by his mother Lynn, brother Joe (Kellie), nephew Jaxton, niece Harper, sister Nicole (Scott), and his beloved fiancé Abigail Scheel. He was preceded in death by his father Michael Manders, grandparents; Ray Hansen, Mary Lou Hansen, Franklin Manders, Cozette Manders-Albright.

Jeff graduated from Monarch High School in Louisville, CO (class of 2012). He attended Trinidad State Junior College where he played baseball for one year before transferring to the University of Colorado, Boulder. He graduated in 2016 after earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering. A few months later Jeff moved to Arizona to be closer to his brother Joe and begin his career at Kitchell, where he started as a field engineer and was currently excelling as a Senior VICON Engineer.

Jeff was looking forward to marrying the love of his life on September 18th, but unfortunately just 5 weeks prior, he lost a hard fought, 6 month battle against MECOM rearranged Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He will be remembered for his incredibly sharp mind, his quick wit, his sense of humor and always the life of the party. He loved being the fun Uncle Jefe to Jax and Harper and absolutely adored his pup Neagley. His vast group of friends were a priority to him, and were always showing up for him. He was great at keeping in touch and staying updated with their lives. Jeff was a huge CU Buff fan, Sko Buffs!, and cheered on the Yankees as a loyal fan from the time he was little. He never missed a Marvel movie and encouraged everyone to watch all the movies, in order of course.

His greatest accomplishments were hiking to Havasupai Falls, along with getting his FAA license to fly a drone for Kitchell. He created drone videos, coined as Shakedown Studios, of projects underway, starting from breaking ground through completion. He was recognized as a Pathfinder from OpenSpace technology, a visual intelligence platform for construction. The best thing he would tell you he ever did however, was propose to Abi.

Please join us in celebrating Jeff's life on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 8525. The service will begin at 2pm immediately followed by a reception until 5pm.
