Jerry is survived by his loving wife Elaine of 61 years; his son Michael and wife Kristie; his three grandchildren: Fallon, Hudson, and Samantha along with her husband Kris; and his great grandchildren Madalyn and Eli. Jerry cherished every moment spent with his family. One of our fondest memories was listening to stories of his childhood while he cooked his famous pancakes and bacon, always making everyone laugh.
As a young man, Jerry attended Phoenix Christian High School in Arizona. After graduating, he continued his education in California, attending Pasadena Nazarene College where he majored in History with a minor in Education. It was there he met his wife Elaine. Jerry’s career included many years as an Employee Benefit Analyst with Arizona Public Service.
Jerry had a passion for constructing N-scale model railroads. At home he had an entire room dedicated to his town's layout and would name sites in the town after his family, including Lanieville and Sam’s Canyon.
Jerry and Elaine moved to Fellowship Square Phoenix in 2017.
Jesus was so precious to Jerry and he will be remembered most for his gift of song. We take peace in knowing he is now part of the Heavenly Choir.
Jerry did not want to have a service. Please listen to your favorite hymn and think of him. He would love that.
