Jesus Leon Oros Sr., “Jess” 72, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026. He was born on February 28, 1954, in East Los Angeles, California, to a family that would become the foundation of the life he built and the legacy he leaves behind.
Jess graduated from Canoga Park High School and later earned his CDL through ATI Trucking. He dedicated 28 years of his life to trucking, a career that reflected his strong work ethic, determination, independence, and commitment to providing for the people he loved.
On November 25, 1972, Jess married the love of his life, Ester Oros, in Northridge, California. Together, they built a life filled with family, memories, hard work, laughter, and love. Their marriage was a beautiful part of the legacy he leaves behind.
Jess was a man who found happiness in the simple things in life. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, bowling, traveling the open road, and spending time with his family. He especially cherished the moments spent surrounded by the people he loved. Whether he was sharing stories, laughing with family, enjoying one of his favorite hobbies, or simply spending time with those closest to him, those moments meant everything to him.
To know Jess was to know a man who valued family above all else. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, son, godfather, father in law, cousin, and friend. His presence brought strength and love to his family, and the memories he created with them will continue to live on for generations.
Jess is survived by his beloved wife, Ester Oros; his children, Irene, Irma, Jesse Jr., Robert, Raquel, and Armando; and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Lianna, Jessica, Robert Jr., Jasmine, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Fabian, April, Nathaniel, Bobby, Yvette, Nathalia, Alina, Annaliyah, Alexander, Deejay, Cataleya, Penelope, Zoe, Andres, Aubrey, Adelina, Aiden, Leo, Jordan, Romeo along with his extended family and loved ones.
His family will forever carry the lessons he taught them, the stories he shared, the laughter they experienced together, and the memories they made along the way.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, his love, his strength, and his legacy will never leave us. He may no longer be here for us to see, but he will always be with us in the memories we carry, the lessons he taught us, and the love he gave us.
Rest peacefully, Jess. Your journey here may have come to an end, but your story lives on through every person who was blessed to know and love you. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
