John Robert Biro

John will be remembered as a faithful husband to Susan (June 17, 2024), a wonderful father to Vicki and Patti, and a Papa that cherished his grandchildren Jake and Jenna.

Golf was John’s passion and he could be found on a variety of golf courses over the years. His very favorite and most often played course was Papago Golf Club. He was an amazing and talented player and had a drive that could knock the ball across town.

Gideons International played a big role in John’s life. He would hand out Bibles at colleges and distribute them in hotel rooms, praying that one would touch someone’s life and lead them to a relationship with Jesus.

In his younger years, John would race his red Chevy on the canal banks in Phoenix, along Central Avenue and down Shea Boulevard. It was during this racing hobby that John met Susan.

John was employed for 30 years by Sears in multiple management positions. He worked at nearly every location in Arizona and only missed one day of work during his career. He was a great role model in job commitment to his family and peers.

John will always be cherished and greatly missed by his family and friends.
