John T Jackson

John T. Jackson, 94, passed peacefully on December 17, 2011, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was born on February 16, 1917, in London, Ontario, Canada, to loving parents John and Annie Jackson. He was a life time member of the Masonic Lodge for 75 yrs. He enjoyed traveling, and playing Golf. Retired from the City of Detroit, Michigan Police Dept. He was married to Lillian Jackson for over 50 yrs. He was also married to Betty M. Jackson for over 23 yrs until the time of his passing. John and Lillian had two sons, John S. Jackson, residing in Whittier, CA., with his wife Pat; Allen D. Jackson residing in High Point, N.C., with his wife Gail. He is preceded by his three sisters, Marion, Faye, and Olive. He is succeeded by eight grandchildren; Lisa Maraszek and husband Tom residing in Tolita, CA.; Dawn Whittam and husband John, residing in Yocipa, CA.; Jill Clements and husband Chris residing in Bakersfield, CA.; John Jackson and wife Laura, residing in Costa Mesa, CA.; Doug Jackson, residing in Etowah, N.C.; David Jackson and wife Mary Helen, residing in High Point, North Carolina; Darren Jackson, residing in Atlanta, GA; Donald Jackson, residing in High Point, N.C. John was also blessed with nineteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; nieces Marilyn and husband Bill Moore, residing in Oxford, MI; Pat Stoner and her husband John, residing in Chandler, AZ; nephew Edward Hock and his wife Rita, residing in Venice, FL.
