My name is Vince Bernstein, though many knew me as Vinnie on TikTok. I wanted to share what John, “Tibbie,” meant to so many of us.

I don’t know if his family realized how loved he was by our TikTok community. John wasn’t just someone from the internet—he was our friend. He was one of my very first followers and was in my nightly livestreams almost every evening. If he wasn’t there, we noticed.

John was one of the kindest, most supportive people I’ve ever met online. He always knew the right thing to say and could brighten anyone’s day. He loved talking about his years at U-Haul and often shared stories about the dogs he missed, especially Levi. His kindness and gentle spirit touched thousands of people, he alone had 5000 followers.

When he suddenly stopped joining our lives, many of us knew something wasn’t right. We hoped we’d see him again, but sadly that day never came.

One memory I’ll always treasure is that I hide my microphone in my long beard during my livestreams. Whenever I walked around in the dark, the microphone light would glow through my beard, and without fail John would type, “It’s Cyborg Vinnie!” Every single time. Now whenever I see that little glow, I think of him and smile.

On behalf of so many friends from TikTok, thank you for sharing John with us. He was loved more than you may ever know, and he made a lasting impact on people all over the world. We will miss him dearly, but we’ll never forget him.

Rest in peace, Tibbie. Thank you for being our friend.

My condolences to John 's family. 
He would join myself and many others on a live in tiktok and just talk about daily things. He's always had a great sense of humor. He was such a good strong man. RIP "Tibbie" and that's how we knew him on the TikTok live.. Even if it was a short time he was a great soul and glad we made acquaintances.

I got to know John when I lived in Phoenix in 1972-1974.  I am a cousin from Indiana and was close to the Henneys, especially with Darell plus during the time I spent out there I got close to several of the extended families.  I connected to John and found him to be a great person, very interesting, and really smart.  I could relate several stories but probably should not as we both had some very funny memories that we shared.  He even flew back to Indiana and spent a week with me so I could show him around where his mother and family came from.  I am happy that John has moved on to his final resting place, all I really want to say is that he was a great guy and will be greatly missed.
