

Polly had a variety of interests and experiences throughout her life. In her 20’s, she was involved in community theater and was particularly known for her comic roles. She was a lover of books, cross-word puzzles and movies. She had great interest in WWII, the Holocaust and Holocaust survivors. In her retirement, she enjoyed ballroom dancing and participated in Arthur Murray dance competitions.
Throughout her life, Polly’s true love was her dogs. She was passionate about animal welfare. She actively supported Arizona Adopt a Greyhound through her public relations work educating the public about adopting retired racers. For many years she adopted, loved and shared her life with many of these greyhounds.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Jean Colvin and Christine Myers.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brooke Peters and Nicki Nelson, her son Andrew Peters, two grandchildren Ian Peters and Christine Peters and her dog Ginger Snap.
