Katherine Ann Walker

Katherine A. Walker (Rolson), 79 years old, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Katherine was born September 8, 1937 in Jacksonville, Illinois where she fell in love and married her high school sweetheart, Carl Eldon Walker in 1956. With 4 young children, Katherine and Carl relocated to Arizona in 1965 where they raised their family and celebrated 45 years together before his passing in 2001. Katherine, always a loving and compassionate woman, served as a nursing assistant for over 26 years at Good Samaritan Hospital until retiring in 2006. She was very proud of her years of dedication and commitment to the countless patients she cared for. Katherine was proceeded in death by son Kenneth James and husband Carl Walker, granddaughters Bethanie and Amanda Walker, parents Howard James and Betty L. Rolson and sister Alberta Shelton. She is survived by her sons Greg Walker (Janet), Gordon Walker, Rodger Walker (Nichole) and daughter Carolyn Morrison (Richard) along with grandchildren Hannah and Michaela Walker, John Morrison, Jessica Garcia, Casey, Ryan and Austin Walker, nieces Vicki Shelton, Wendy Daniel, Debbie Hedden and Tami Smith as well as many loving close friends and family members.
