Such a great loss is always devastating but there is an inner strength that will always help you remember the wonderful memories you were so lucky to have shared and you can move on knowing she is thinking of those same memories
 and watching over you.


I want to send my deep condolences to Jim and the entire family. I am so very sorry about this and will miss Kay, even though I didn't see her often. She was a fantastic person, so much  fun and also such a truly good person.  I will always remember meeting her when Rockson was just a baby, and watching him grow through these past years (even though mostly through facebook) and always seeing how much she loved him and the joy he brought to her.  Of course her boys all did, as well as Jim, and her beloved cats (even though I met her because of our Akitas, lol).  She also had such an unbelievably good attitude throughout her illness. I know this was because of her faith and the love of her family.  She will always be an inspiration to me and someone who I will aspire to emulate when things get tough, as they do for us all at times.  Godspeed Kay!  I will miss you.

I met Kay at the end of last year while going through one of the most difficult times in my own life. She created a jewelry set for me that came from something sad and painful and became something beautiful and joy filled again because, in part, it reminds me of her. The few hours we spent together touched my life and made a permanent impression on my heart. Her kind and gentle spirit undoubtedly touched many people throughout her life including me and I am thankful for having had the pleasure of knowing her if only for a brief moment in time. May God's comfort and peace be with you always.

Kay...you are still my hero...you met your challenge head on and with strength, faith and determination... I will miss seeing you come walking into your mom's patio door and talking with us until all hours of the night... thank you for being so sweet and funny and showing us such great times...❤
