Larry Francis Andrew

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Marjorie Andrew and sister Susan Gray (Dave). He is survived by his niece Terri Cochran (Larry) and Meredith Gray (Andy) along with their children, Shannon Welch, Ian Gray, Ella Gray, and Quinn Gray and a multitude of cousins. He also leaves behind special friends John and Sue Heinz.

Larry was born in Alva, Oklahoma and moved as a small child to Silver City, New Mexico and then to Scottsdale, Arizona by the time he was seven years old. After a brief service in the Army, he returned to Phoenix, AZ and then Tempe, AZ where he resided throughout his life. Larry always stayed close to family and friends. He was always a go-to guy for help with anything including roundtrip airport transportation, cooking for large family gatherings, and especially helping family and friends with computer challenges. Some of his favorite days were working to help organize the Andrew Reunion in Alva, Oklahoma for many years. Larry was an accomplished wood crafter and enjoyed working alongside his cousin Jack Ferrell on special projects. His family and friends have been gifted many special treasures over the years.

A memorial service will be held at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00AM.
