Lois Claire Lassonde Boen

Lois Claire Lassonde Boen, Age 88, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 peacefully at her home in Tempe, Arizona. She was born in Two Harbors, Minnesota on September 30, 1933. Lois was the oldest daughter of Philip and Mabel Essen Lassonde. She retired from the Department of Health Services in Two Harbors in 1996 and move to Arizona to be near her family. She enjoyed living independently and having the ability to drive until her death. She loved being able to travel and devote her time, patience and wisdom with her grand and great-grand children. She truly enjoyed her friends at her exercise and cruiser groups. She loved to play pool including just recently as she still played a great game. She had a love of the Vikings, lighthouses, Jeopardy, Bingo and the Big Bang Theory.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents Philip and Mabel, and her son Lee Boen. Lois is survived by younger brothers Philip (Delores) Lassonde of Two Harbors, MN and Thomas (Mary) Lassonde of Cleveland, MN along with her children Steven (Tracy) Boen of Camp Verde, AZ, Richard (Theresa) Boen of Tempe AZ, Robert Boen of Tempe AZ, Mary Crader of Elizabeth AR and Jean (Derk Kesler) Kasitch of Apache Junction AZ. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren James, Stephen, Christopher, Samantha, Casey, Chelsea, Alan, Nicholas, Charlie and Daniel and her many great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday October 17, 2021 at Green Acres Memorial Park at 401 N Hayden, Scottsdale beginning @ 1:00 PM.

So many memories growing up with this family. To this day when I'm hanging clothes out to dry I still think of her hanging clothes out in the middle of winter! I know there are no words that can ease your pain but please know I am thinking of you all at this difficult time.
