Lottie Elaine Childress went to be with the Lord Jesus October 18, 2011. Born September 16, 1916, to Clarence and Emma Long. Married to Perrine Lee Childress. Preceded in death by husband, Lee and daughter, Suzanne. Survived by daughter Melissa Lows, grandchildren, Carol Schneider (Tom), Roy L. Morris (Sheri), Kurt Morris (Joni), Susan Kenney (Tim) and Janet Lows. Eight great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and sister, Ina Mae Wade. Lottie was a long time member of Valley Southern Baptist Church, Mesa, and was a member of College View Baptist Church at the time of her death. She worked as an office manager for many years at Mesa Community College. Friends of the family are invited to a visitation at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Thursday, October 20, from 6pm to 8pm. A memorial and celebration service will be held Friday, October 21, 10:00 am at College View Baptist Church, 1810 S. Longmore, Mesa.
