Lydia was passionate of life, she lived for two daughters who became beautiful women, as well as her loving husband. Lydia touched the lives of many with her kind soul, great optimistic attitude, and her love for life. Everyone she met and interacted with always had such positive things to say about her. She always thought about others before herself and never expected anything in return. Lydia was truly the best wife, mother, and woman out there. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Lydia was more than a mother to just her two daughters. She treated everyone as one of her own and loved everyone equally. There was not one mean bone in her body. She loved life and always said to remember that God walks with you every step of the way. lt was impossible to be in a bad mood around her. She has left her mark on this Earth and will forever be remembered.
Lydia had many hobbies: cooking, shopping, traveling, and collecting shoes and purses. Lydia was my soulmate, best friend, wife, mother of my two daughters, and just a wonderful human being, Every nurse in the hospital said that she was her favorite patient.
Lydia is joining her mother and father, Magdalena and Antolin Gaa up in the heavens. She has left her husband of 26 years of marriage plus an additional 10 years of dating, David; her two daughters, Laura and Rachel, and her soon to be son-in-law, Chris, to continue living her legacy of always being Silver Strong. Lydia and her family would like to thank all the staff at Osborn Hospital, as well as her family and friends for their love during this difficult time.
