Mable Hopper Webb

Mable Hopper Webb passed from this life to life eternal on June 20, 2012. She was 97.Mable was born on August 25, 1914 in Jackson, TN. She graduated from Lambeth College and started a long, satisfying career as a teacher. While at Lambeth, Mable met the love of her life, "Sonny" Webb, who she married on March 7, 1936. They had 3 boys: Larry, Gene, and Mike. Mable was a very loving wife and mother as well as a terrific cook. Many family memories are tied to the joy and comfort surrounding family dinners. Mable was active in volunteering at her church. She was also involved with the Cotton Wives Association, serving one term as president. Mable was predeceased by her husband Norval Kyle "Sonny", her sister Louise, brother Buddy, and her mother & father, Nelle & Brooks Hopper. Mable leaves behind her sons Larry (Vicki), Gene, and Mike (Kristi), her grandchildren Rick, Cindy, Matt, Alanna, and Cory, and great-grandchildren Katie and Larrissa. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, June 23, 2012 in Green Acres Chapel of Light followed by internment in Green Acres Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ.
