Marlene J Howell

Marlene Joyce Howell passed peacefully into her final reward, at 7:43 pm on July 30th 2015. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Charles and Ann Mathisen, and was the youngest of three girls. It was in Omaha that she met the love of her life, Jack Howell; and in 1954 they were joined in marriage and began a 60 year journey together. Marlene loved God, her husband Jack, her children, Gary(Candie) and Denise(Mark), her grandchildren Nicole, Erik, Kristin, Megan, Jennifer, Kacey and Devin, as well as her 4 great-grandchildren Connor, Tristan, Trinity and Cael. Marlene was always an active member of her church. She loved to read Christian books and listen to good gospel music, and never met a puzzle or crossword that she couldn’t conquer. She will be laid to rest at Green Acres Cemetery where she will join those who went before her, parents Charles and Ann as well as two of her grandchildren Nicole and Kacey.
