Marsha Elizabeth Till

Born on March 17, 1949, in Seattle, Washington, she was the beloved daughter of Elizabeth and Roger Stroede. As the child of a U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, Marsha grew up stationed all over the world, spending most of her youth on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. She attended high school at St. Andrew’s Priory School in Honolulu, and later in life earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Arizona State University. She went on to enjoy a fulfilling career as a Procurement Specialist for Allied Signal.

Marsha married Roger Heilbrun and relocated to Tempe, AZ in 1973, where they raised their two sons, Brian and Jason. The family shared many wonderful years together in Tempe, enjoying water skiing, snow skiing, and quality time with close family and friends.

Marsha remarried Thomas Till in 1992, and together they shared an incredible life of travel and adventure until his passing in 1999. During this chapter of her life, Marsha became deeply involved with the Phoenix Art Museum. She proudly served as the President of the Arizona Costume Institute, an auxiliary support group of the museum, a role she often spoke of as one of her greatest accomplishments. Marsha had a vibrant passion for travel and her various collections. She will be remembered for her never ending love of her boys, grandchildren, love of animals, specifically her birds, and her sweet dog, Lucy.

Marsha is survived by her two sons, Brian Heilbrun (Amy) and Jason Heilbrun (Kim); her six grandchildren, Austin, Gavin, Dustin, Cole, JJ, and Skylar; her great-granddaughter, Harley; her brother, Roger K Stroede; and her nephew, Roger H Stroede. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Roger Stroede, as well as her husbands, Roger Heilbrun and Thomas Till.

Funeral services will be held on July 24, 2026, at 10:00 am at Green Acres Cemetery, located at 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, Arizona. Following the burial, a reception will be held at Manuel’s, located at 2350 E Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ.

To honor Marsha’s deep love of fashion and art, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Phoenix Art Museum, specifically designated for the Arizona Costume Institute.
