Mary Jane Anderson, 92, of Tempe, AZ passed away on August 11, 2016. She was born in Johnstown, PA on November 14, 1923 to Frank and Salome Figge. Mary Jane relocated to Tempe, AZ in 1961, where she became an avid ASU fan and was employed in the Graduate Office for 21 years. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert “Swede” Anderson. Mary Jane is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Larry) Davis; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior.
