Mary L. Ashworth, 94, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed peacefully on March 18, 2014. She was born on October 17, 1919, in Sarahsville, OH to loving parents Thomas and Beulah Archer. She married Donald E. Ashworth on August 16, 1941, and they settled in the Phoenix area in 1956. Mary worked in the beauty industry and food service industry, but her favorite role was that of mother and grandmother. She was preceded by her parents and loving husband and sister Louise Archer. She is survived by her sons David (Cynthia) Ashworth of Scottsdale, AZ, and Thomas (Christine) Ashworth of Simi Valley, CA. She is also survived by brother Larry Archer of Canton, OH; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three nephews. Funeral arrangements were handled by Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery.
