Mary Ann Johnson

She was born July 27, 1917 in Akron, Ohio and came to Arizona in 1942, then resided in Scottsdale for the rest of her life. Mary Ann worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" helping build airplanes and machinery during World War II.

She married Robert Parker Johnson in July, 1949 in Phoenix. Mary Ann later worked for and retired at 65 years of age from First Interstate Bank. She was a devout Christian, studied God's word and loved her family and friends and animals. Mary Ann will be greatly missed.

Mary Ann is survived by three children: son, Bob (Sandy) Johnson; daughters, Barbara (Bill) Canniff and Billie (Eric) Oberg; four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022, 10:00 AM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, followed by Mary's funeral service at 11:00 AM.
